Hi, I'm Guto

I build the product, then write the docs.

Full-stack developer and technical writer in Abuja.

I ship web apps and Midnight dApps for businesses and teams, and I write the developer documentation that gets people using them.

I need:
Build

From database to browser, shipped

Django, NestJS and React in production, plus Compact contracts and ZK circuits on Midnight. Schema, API, interface, deploy: I own features end to end.

Write

Docs developers actually use

Guides and tutorials written from hands-on building, including a full guide to the MidnightProviders interface.

7Compact circuits in Nightroom
3developer guides: Providers, WSL2, NixOS
2PRs sent to the official Midnight docs
230,409block of my first contract on preprod
About

The short version

I started in regular full-stack work, and kept getting pulled toward one question: how much does an app really need to know about its users?

Zero-knowledge proofs answer it elegantly, so I moved much of my work to the Midnight Network, where I build dApps, circuits and the tooling around them.

I like problems that are slow, boring and in everyone's way. A gap in the docs is one of them, so I write the guide, or send the pull request.

I also serve as welfare secretary of my alumni association, which keeps me honest about building things people actually use.

Two projects, from goal to build

Community platform

  • Goal: one members site for an alumni set, with its own admin.
  • Built: Google sign-in, an admin panel, events with countdowns.
  • Stack: Supabase.
Web3 dApp

Nightroom

  • Goal: private room rentals that don't expose renter data.
  • Built: seven Compact circuits and a dual commitment scheme.
  • Result: merged into Midnight's official awesome-dapps repo.
